Welcome to AfriTrove! These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.afritrove.com (the “Website”), including all services, features, and purchases offered by AfriTrove (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
By using our Website, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use immediately.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use our Website.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information when creating an account or making a purchase.
2. Account Registration & Security
You may need to create an account to place an order.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
3. Products & Availability
We make every effort to display product details, pricing, and availability accurately. However, errors may occur.
Product images are for illustration only and may differ slightly from the actual product.
Availability of products is subject to stock and supply from our partners, including overseas suppliers.
4. Orders & Payments
By placing an order, you agree to purchase the selected product(s) at the stated price.
All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise stated.
Payments are processed securely through Paystack. We do not store your card details.
Your order will only be confirmed once payment is successfully processed.
AfriTrove reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order if fraud, unauthorized activity, or errors in pricing/stock are detected.
5. Shipping & Delivery
We partner with trusted logistics providers to deliver your order.
Delivery timelines vary depending on product type and location. Some products may be shipped directly from overseas suppliers.
Shipping fees, if applicable, will be displayed at checkout.
AfriTrove is not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers, customs clearance, or unforeseen circumstances.
6. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
At AfriTrove, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction. However, due to the nature of our products (including imports from overseas suppliers):
Returns are generally not accepted unless the item is:
Defective, damaged upon delivery, or incorrect.
You must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the item if you encounter such issues.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed via the original payment method (Paystack) within 7–14 business days.
Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping may be the customer’s responsibility unless the error was ours.
7. Pricing & Promotions
We reserve the right to adjust prices, promotions, or discounts at any time.
Discounts and promotional codes cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
In case of pricing errors, AfriTrove may cancel the affected order and issue a refund.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website (logos, text, images, product listings, graphics, and software) is the property of AfriTrove or its partners.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
AfriTrove is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our Website or products.
We are not responsible for losses due to misuse of products, delays in delivery, or issues beyond our control.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.
10. User Conduct
By using AfriTrove, you agree not to:
Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity.
Attempt to disrupt or hack our Website.
Use our services for commercial resale without permission.
11. Third-Party Services
Payments are handled by Paystack, and you agree to their terms and privacy practices.
We may also integrate third-party services (e.g., logistics, analytics), and your use of these may be subject to additional terms.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In case of disputes, we encourage resolution through negotiation first.
If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
13. Changes to Terms
AfriTrove may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.
